A New Page Update

This announcement appeared a while back and I think I will repeat it in some fashion, whenever I update the poetry page.

I know, I promised more about the “man topic” for today, but I have such a rotten cold, I can’t bear to think about it.

Laugh if you want, here. That was supposed to be funny.

Anyway, I found several wonderful poems to add to the Poem Page and have been amazed at the depth of feelings expressed, here. Emotions ranging the gamut from the joy of shared autumns, to the frustrations of failed communications and raising challenged children are enough to inspire ANYONE, mother or not.

So please take another look. (I know you’ve been there, from my stats page — Go again!)

You will be enriched.

And send me that poem you wrote about your mom — or that poem your mom wrote about you — or that poem you wrote about being a mom — or that poem you wrote about your mom-in-law — or that poem your mom-in-law wrote about her son — or . . .

Wow, great minds think a like. I didn’t write a poem about Mom’s but I did just open up on my blog about one of my favorite people, my daughter. I LOVE being a Mom to her.

My dear friend, that was a very elegant piece of sweet writing! I loved it. Thanks for sharing her with us, and blessing us that way. I know what you mean about “LOVE being a Mom to her” as I have my own whom I loved that way, too. Mmmm – moms!

Is this making ANY sense?
